Latino vote for Governor
Latino share of voters: 37% |
Latino vote for Sec State
Latino share of voters: 37% |
Note: Latino contribution is the net amount Latino votes contributed to the overall margin for the winning candidate. It is calculated by taking the partisan vote advantage for one candidate (i.e. 61% to 38% = partisan advantage of +23) and multiplying it by the Latino share of the electorate. If Latinos provide Denish with a +23 vote advantage, and comprise 37% of the electorate, that translates into a net contribution of 8.5 points towards Denish’s overall margin.
